Version: October 2026 · Cookie consent version: 1.
This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used on the Turkish and English pages of the website www.drvolkanaktemur.com. Reading this page or using the website does not mean that you have given consent; consent is given only with the buttons in the cookie banner. How your personal data are processed on the website in general is described in the Privacy Notice on the Protection of Personal Data.
1. In brief
- Unless you give consent, the website does not connect to Google, Meta or any other measurement or advertising company, and these companies' cookies are not written to your device.
- The website's own code does not use cookies on visitor pages; it keeps only two small records in your browser: your cookie choice, and the type of the first page you opened during that visit together with the tags of the campaign link you came to the website through, if any.
- You can use all pages of the website and the appointment form without consenting to cookies.
- If you give consent, the measurement tools run. Personalized advertising is off in all cases.
- You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the "Cookie preferences" button at the bottom of every page.

3. What are cookies and similar technologies?
- Cookie: A small text file saved to your device through your browser when you visit a website.
- Local storage (localStorage): A small storage area that the browser sets aside for each website. Information written here stays until you delete it and, unlike a cookie, is not sent to the website automatically.
- Session storage (sessionStorage): Similar to local storage; it is deleted when you close the browser tab.
- Pixel: A small piece of code added to a page; it sends information to a service provider when the page is viewed or an action is taken.
First-party records belong to the website you visit (drvolkanaktemur.com); third-party records belong to the service of another company added to the website. Some services write their own cookies under the website's domain name; these cookies still belong to that service.
4. Records for which your consent is not requested
The records below are kept by the website's own code or by WordPress; none of them is sent to another company.
For visitors
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| drva_consent | Local storage, first-party | Remembers your choice in the cookie banner (the types you allowed, the time of the choice and the consent version), so that the banner does not appear again on every page and the measurement tools are loaded or not loaded according to your choice | Until you change it or delete it from your browser; when the consent version changes, you are asked for your choice again | Strictly necessary |
| drva_attr | Session storage, first-party | Remembers the type of the first page you opened during that visit (e.g. home page, treatment page; not the page address or the name of the treatment) and, if you came to the website through a campaign link, the tags of that link; if you submit the appointment form, this information is recorded together with your submission | Deleted when you close the tab | Campaign source measurement |
Your language preference is not kept in a cookie; the language you are using is understood from the page address. The website has no comment feature. Like every web server, the website's server writes the address of the page opened, the IP address and browser information to technical logs; these logs are not cookies and are described in the Privacy Notice.
Only for authorized persons who log in to the administration panel
WordPress places the cookies below for authorized persons who log in to the website's administration panel; they are not placed for visitors to the website.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| wordpress_test_cookie | Tests whether the browser accepts cookies | Session |
| wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_logged_in_* | Verifies the identity of the user logged in to the panel | Session; 14 days if "Remember Me" is selected |
| wp-settings-*, wp-settings-time-* | Remembers panel screen preferences | 1 year |
5. Records that depend on your consent
When you first enter the website, you see a cookie banner. Records that depend on consent are not used until you make a choice in this banner. The banner has three options:
| Your choice | Result |
|---|---|
| Reject | No consent-based tool runs; the code that loads the measurement tools is not loaded at all. |
| Analytics only | Only the analytics tool that measures website use (Google Analytics) runs. |
| Accept | The analytics tool and the advertising measurement tools (Google Ads, Meta pixel) run together. |
These tools are loaded through Google Tag Manager and only after consent has been given.
| Name | Type | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Cookie | Google Analytics | To produce statistics on website use by distinguishing visitors from one another | 2 years | Analytics |
| _ga_* | Cookie | Google Analytics | To maintain visit (session) information | 2 years | Analytics |
| _gcl_au | Cookie | Google Ads | To measure whether advertisements result in an appointment request | 90 days | Marketing |
| _gcl_aw, _gcl_gb | Cookie | Google Ads | To associate your click on a Google ad with an appointment request | 90 days | Marketing |
| _fbp | Cookie | Meta | To keep an identifier that distinguishes your browser for advertising measurement | 90 days | Marketing |
| _fbc | Cookie | Meta | To store your click on a Meta ad | 90 days | Marketing |
| Google Ads and Meta event requests | Pixel | Google, Meta | To report to the advertising account the submission of the appointment form and clicks on the WhatsApp or phone link | Instant request | Marketing |
Information sent to these tools. If you give analytics consent, the following is sent to Google Analytics: the address and title of the page you view, the type and language of the page, the links and buttons you click, the fact that you submitted the form, cookie identifiers, your IP address, and technical information about your browser and device. On treatment pages, only the page type is sent instead of the page address and title; which treatment page you view is not passed on to these tools. If you give marketing consent, the following is sent to Google Ads and Meta: the fact that the appointment form was submitted and that the WhatsApp or phone link was clicked, the ad click identifier, cookie identifiers, your IP address and your browser information. The Meta pixel does not run on treatment pages.
The name, phone number and email you write on the form, and the topic you select, are not sent to any of these tools.
Personalized advertising is off. Even if you give all consents, ad personalization stays off. You are not shown ads later because you visited the website (remarketing), ads are not shown to people similar to visitors (similar audiences), and your contact details are not uploaded to advertising platforms.
6. What happens if you do not give consent?
The website uses Google's consent mode setting (Consent Mode v2) in basic mode. When a page opens, all analytics and advertising permissions start as off. Until you make a choice, or if you reject, the code that loads the measurement tools is not loaded at all; no request goes to Google or Meta, and these companies' cookies are not written. If JavaScript is turned off in your browser, the measurement tools are not loaded at all either.
7. External content loaded when you click
- Google Maps: The map on the contact page does not load automatically. If you click the "Show map" button, the map is loaded from Google Maps; in this case, Google receives your IP address, your browser information and the page address, and may use its own cookies.
- WhatsApp, phone, email and social media links: These are only links; there is no window or tool embedded in the page. When you click a link, the relevant app or website opens and that service's own rules apply.
- The website has no embedded video, social media feed, live chat window or robot verification tool. Fonts are loaded from the website's own server.
8. Changing and withdrawing consent
- The "Cookie preferences" button at the bottom of every page opens the banner again; your new choice replaces the old one.
- When you withdraw your consent, the tools for which you withdrew consent do not run on the following pages. Withdrawal takes effect for the future.
- You can delete Google and Meta cookies previously written to your device in your browser settings.
- Your choice is kept only in your own browser; so you need to make your choice again in another browser or on another device.
- When the list of tools used changes, this policy is updated, the consent version is increased and you are asked for your choice again.
9. Deleting and blocking from your browser
In your browser's privacy or site data settings, you can view, delete or block cookies and site data (including local storage and session storage). If you delete the site data for drvolkanaktemur.com, your cookie choice is also deleted and the banner appears again. Blocking cookies does not affect the working of the website or the appointment form.
10. Legal grounds and transfer
| Record | Purpose | Legal ground |
|---|---|---|
| drva_consent and administration panel cookies | To remember your cookie choice; to enable login to the panel and ensure security | Art. 5(2)(f) of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK): legitimate interest |
| drva_attr | To measure the page type from which, and the campaign with which, visitors arrive at the website | KVKK Art. 5(2)(f): legitimate interest |
| Analytics and marketing records | To measure the use of the website and the results of advertisements | KVKK Art. 5(1): your explicit consent |
Information is collected through these records by automated means. The records stored in your browser are not transferred to anyone; the information in drva_attr is recorded together with your submission only if you submit the appointment form. The information collected by the tools that run with your consent may be processed by Google and Meta on servers outside Türkiye; transfer abroad is made on the basis of standard contracts under KVKK Art. 9. The information may be shared with authorized public institutions and organizations where the law requires it.
11. Your rights
Your rights under KVKK Art. 11 and how to apply are described in the Privacy Notice on the Protection of Personal Data. You do not need to make an application to change your cookie choice; you can use the "Cookie preferences" button.
12. Changes
This policy is updated when the tools, records or durations used change. When a new consent-based tool is added, you are asked for your choice again.
